UKREXPORT LTD represents Ukraine’s producers of hot-rolled, calibrated, cold-drawn or fоrgеd steel wire rods for a number of applications. Steel Wire or Wire Rods here, listed in ascending order of maximal tensile strength, are produced according to original standards that may or may not correspond to international ASTM-А510М/A615M, BS 4449, DIN 488-1/2, etc:
GOST 30136-95 (DSTU 2770-94): Common quality carbon steel wire rods.
Diameter (round, hot-rolled): 5.0; 5.5; 6.0; 6.3; 6.5; 7.0; 8.0; 9.0 and possibly > 9.0mm
Tensile Strength: 420-490 N/mm2
GOST 1050-88 (DSTU 7809:2015): Carbon structural quality steel gauged bars with special surface finish.
Diameter (round, hot-rolled or calibrated or fоrgеd): < 5-250mm
Tensile Strength: 320-680 N/mm2
GOST 10702-78 (DSTU 3684-98): Carbon and alloy, structural steel bars for cold-extruding and upsetting.
Diameter (round, hot-rolled) 5-45mm; (round, calibrated) 3-42mm;
Diameter (hexagon, hot-rolled) 8-48mm; (hexagon, calibrated) 7-40mm; (hexagon, cold-drawn) 3-6.5mm;
Tensile Strength: 310-690 N/mm2
GOST 6727-80 (DSTU B D.1.1-1:2013): Cold-drawn low-carbon steel wire for reinforced concrete.
Diameter (round/oval, with periodical lugs & dents): 3.0; 4.0; 5.0; and possibly > 5.0mm
Tensile Strength: 440-1770 N/mm2
GOST 7348-81 (ST SEV 5728-86): Carbon steel wire for reinforcement of pre-stressed concrete.
Diameter (round/oval, with periodical dents): 3.0; 4.0; 5.0; 6.0; 7.0; 8.0 and possibly > 8.0mm
Classes of Strength (depending on fluidity limit): 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 N/mm2
Tensile Strength: 1470-1780 N/mm2
GOST 14959-79 (DSTU 4738:007): Carbon and alloy steel bars & strips for vehicle springs.
Diameter (round, hot-rolled or fоrgеd): < 8-250mm
Section (rectangular or trapezoidal, hot-rolled or fоrgеd): < 8-250mm
Tensile Strength: 980-1860 N/mm2
GOST 7372-79 (DSTU B V.2.7-300:2014): Carbon and alloy, structural steel wire for ropes.
Diameter (round, hot-rolled then cold-drawn): 0.18-5.50mm and possibly > 5.50mm
Tensile Strength: 1370-2160 N/mm2
Common and special steel grades are admitted for making the above Steel Wire due to extreme values of tensile strength, fluidity limit, hardness stand, wreck force, etc. stipulated by end-usages. Minimal order quantity is 1,000mt because this is minimal capacity of a single blast furnace where requested steel grade for requested type of Wire is to be smelted. Please note, any original production of Steel Wire is factory approvable but not publicly accessible process. True inquiry for particular production/offer/price has to show authentic information: 1) who (what company) is buyer/importer/consignee; 2) where (what bank) his payment is to come from; 3) how (in copies of docs) he bought/imported/consumed Steel Wire last time, to prove 1) and 2).
